The youngest son of a large Connecticut family, Aaron Grannis Page settled first in Marlboro, New York. He set up a mill, married Mary ---, and with her had six children over the span of about 10 years. After 20 years there, he and Mary moved the family further west to Seneca, in Ontario County, New York. One of their children died almost immediately after arriving in Seneca, but the others soon married into local families and raised their own farming families. Mary died in 1843, while Aaron lived to be at least 85.
