for duty and mustered at Geneva Sept. 2, credited to the town of
Gorham, Ontario County. Wounded in action Sept. 29, 1864, at Chaffin's
Farm, Virginia. Promoted corporal March 1, 1865. Mustered out with
company [at Richmond, Va., June 22, 1865]."
